Top Ten Mistakes with ExportNet

These are the most common errors that we find are made with ExportNet.

Gross cannot be less/equal to tare weight for FULL ctr

Check that the gross weight you have entered in the ERA, remembering that Gross weight = Consignment Gross + TARE Weight of Container

REJECTED LINE COS FOR DP LVR NOT SHIPPING ON VES MOL INITIATIVE VOY 010

This error is advicing that the discharge port reporting does not match the vessel route listed in the book, if you are uncertain please call the shipping line for clarification.

In this specific example it is saying "Line carrier Cosco for Discharge Port "LVR" is not shipping on a vessel called MOL Initiative voyage 010"

REJECTED LLOYDS NUMBER 9248083 IS INVALID

This error detailed that the specific terminal is not aware of a vessel booking matching this Lloyds number. Check that you have the correct Vessel, Voyage and terminal information.

INVALID ISO CODE – 4380

In this case the container ISO code is incorrect, that is the container type is incorrect and does not match the terminals records. Check that the code is correct, if you are not 100% sure look at the code printed on the container.

ERA0019 - ISO size/type not defined - UNKNOWN22G

This is a rather odd error message, but simply states that the container code is incorrect, refer above.

Lloyds number not defined

This error detailed that the specific terminal is not aware of a vessel booking matching this Lloyds number. Check that you have the correct Vessel, Voyage and terminal information.

Operator not defined

This error states that the terminal is not aware that this operator is using this vessel. Check with the shipping lines that the operator is correct and you are using the correct code, some lines have more than one Operator code.

SPECIFIED LINE OPERATOR NOT PRESENT ON SPECIFIED VESSEL/VOYAGE

This error states that the terminal is not aware that this operator is using this vessel. Check with the shipping lines that the operator is correct and you are using the correct code, some lines have more than one Operator code.

INCORRECT VESSEL VOYAGE NUMBER

This error detailed that the specific terminal is not aware of a vessel booking matching this Lloyds number. Check that you have the correct Vessel, Voyage and terminal information. Check if the ERA was sent to the correct terminal.

Another common mistake is not to include the direction in the voyage number, an example is 012 instead of 012N

SPECIFIED DISCHARGE PORT NOT ON VOYAGE ROTATION LIST

The terminal has a different schedule for the vessel and does not have you discharge port listed. Check your schedule and the code used for this port.

REEFER TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE RANGE / NOT SPECIFIED

The terminal calculate a temperature range for the container based on the commodity, the temperature you have enter is outside this range, please check the details. Also check the correct Terminal Commodity Code.

Vessel Already Departed

This means that the cut off period for the vessel receivals has passed. Check Vessel ETD, Export Receival Cutoff, Voyage and Lloyd's number to confirm your details, you can contact the Shipping line and request if late receivals are possible.

If the Vessel has already departed, possibly incorrect vessel details may have been reported.

Booking number (28837438) found but does not belong to Shipping line (HSD)

Speak to your shipping line for more detail. The most common cause is that you have specified the wrong Carrier.
