== How do I register? ==

== How does it work? ==

CPIS uses information supplied from Container Parks, Shipping Lines and Transport Companies to generate information about;

 * Container Park Capacity 
 * Expected traffic across the container parks by hour
 * Export Booking Confirmation
 * News and Information about Parks

== How does it help me? ==

As a Transport Company you can confirm before your truck leaves your depot;

 * Expected congestion at each of the parks in hourly intervals
 * Obtain up to date news from each park.
 * Confirm export releases
 * Pre advise container parks that you are returning a given container

As a Container Park you obtain the following benefits;

 * Early reporting of expecting container returns supplied by Shipping Lines
 * Reduce data entry by obtainer container information electronically
 * Share information with the industry
 * Track expected container returns on an hourly basis

As a Shipping Line you obtain the following benefits;

 * Reporting on when containers are expected to be returned
 * Obtain up to date news from each park.

== How much does it cost to be involved in the pilot? ==

There are no charges to be involved in te pilot.

== How does the time nomination work? ==

To get a true picture of the traffic at each Park the Transport Companies need to nominate when they are expected (plan) to return the container(s). This is NOT a booking and their is no penality associated however it is used to calculate the traffic in the park across the day so accuracy of the information is important.

== Do I need to install software ==

No, the complete service is web based and can be used with any web browser.

== What information is public? ==

The only informaiton that is public to users of the system is the highlevel capacity of each park. 

 * '''Container Number''' - will provide a Transport Company with the Container Parks approved by the Shipping Line to accept the container.
 * '''Export Booking Number''' - will provide container type and numbers as well as the park to collect the containers from.
 * As a Shipping Line you are able to see all the time nominations for your containers only.
 * As a Container Park you are able to see all the time nominations for your containers only.
